Mark Fitzgerald, MD is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine, focusing on shoulder and knee surgery. Dr. Fitzgerald deeply cares about his patients’ well-being and treats each one of them with great skill and uncommon compassion. He provides leading-edge techniques and data to help patients return to an active lifestyle at the desired level. Dr. Fitzgerald treats a variety of shoulder conditions such as arthritis/DJD, rotator cuff tears, labral tears, instability/ dislocations, biceps pathology, and trauma. In addition, he treats conditions in the knee such as ACL/ligament tears, meniscus tears, patella instability, trauma tears.

Dr. Fitzgerald earned his medical degree at Indiana University and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Boston University. He went on to complete his sports medicine fellowship at Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic in Los Angeles, California. While at Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic, he assisted in team coverage of the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Kings, Anaheim Mighty Ducks, and the USC Football Team.

Along with providing his patients with exceptional orthopedic care, Dr. Fitzgerald is actively working on developing surgical advancements including augmented reality surgery.

Dr. Fitzgerald enjoys training, skiing, golfing and watching his three children's activities and sports.
